Membership

Membership in AMSA is open to anyone interested in Actuarial Science. Membership is restricted to currently enrolled MTSU students, faculty, and staff. Membership and participation in AMSA shall be open to all eligible individuals in accordance with applicable MTSU policies and nondiscrimination requirements.

AMSA maintains a resume book to help connect students with internship and employment opportunities in the actuarial industry. Members are encouraged to submit their most recent resume for inclusion in the book.AMSA shares the resume book with actuarial firms and other industry partners to help students obtain internships and other professional opportunities. Employers may use the resume book to identify and select students for available positions. Students are encouraged to make sure their resumes clearly highlight experiences that distinguish them from other applicants. Research experience, internships, relevant employment, actuarial exams, technical skills, leadership activities, and other accomplishments should be easy to identify. Members should keep their resumes current and submit updated versions when significant changes occur.
